I came to exercise to "scratch my own itch", so to speak. In my childhood and early teenage years, I was overweight and unhealthy. I found exercise as a one of several means of solving my own health issues, and also found that passing on my knowledge and experience was fulfilling enough for it to become a career.
I started Striation 6 so that I could assemble a great team in a friendly, safe environment in order to help as many people as possible feel, function, look and live better through exercise. This is our Mission.
With my clients, I find that getting to their realest reasons for exercising - what truly would have them commit to improving their health - is essential to the process. Meeting each individual at his or her current settings - physical ability, experience and overall zeal for exercise - and curating their exercise to suit them and their goals is what forms a long-term, progressive model for how exercise should go.
To me, client success looks like clients getting clarity on what truly helpful exercise looks like for them, feeling better (as opposed to exhausted or strained) when leaving every workout of Muscle System Work session, and finding themselves progressively more able to live their best lives in a pain-free, confident way.
